About us

Our two offices are based in the towns of Windsor and Sunninghill.  We are a small firm, where the accent is on personal, efficient service for all our clients, whether they are large companies or private individuals, private paying or funded by the State.

The fee earning staff at the Windsor office consist of Roy Furness (who is a member of the Law Society's Children and  Family Law Panels), Penny Carne and Valerie Howes.  At the Sunninghill office you will find Iain Colquhoun and Ken Urquhart.  Everyone has been involved with the firm for at least twenty-five years and we regularly receive compliments on the personal service that we provide.

Our two offices make up an informal , closely linked unit.  The number of clients we have has been growing over the years, and this is due almost entirely to recommendations made by our existing clients.

If you need the services of a solicitor, whether it is for personal or company business, you are welcome to come and see us about it at any time or, if more convenient, we are happy to come and see you

As far as our fees are concerned, much depends, obviously, on the amount of work involved.  Although it is not always possible to predict this in advance we are always prepared to give an estimate with, of course, no obligation on your side to accept.  We are very aware that the eventual cost is an important factor for our clients and we always keep them fully advised, as the work is progressing, of how expensive it is likely to be.

The one exception to this is domestic conveyancing.  Here, because the costs can largely be worked out in advance, we will quote you a fee, for normal house sale or purchase.  You are welcome to ask us for our quotations at any time: you will find we are very competitive.
